CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN LODGE – Cleanup work party, Saturday and Sunday,  August 24 and 25

Work Party Aug. 24-25

We have a two day work party scheduled this coming weekend.  You are welcome to come for one day or both.  If you plan to stay overnight at the lodge, please know that there is no kitchen. We have a microwave to heat but no kitchen utensils or sink to wash.  Bathrooms are all working for showers etc. The Alpine Inn is open for breakfast 7:00 am and dinner.  Plan accordingly if you do stay overnight.  Make sure to bring lunch/water bottles.

The focus this weekend will be to finish painting the Caretaker’s apartment and work on the flooring in the bathroom.

• Brush Cutting around the outside of the lodge.
• Cleaning the Guest Rooms (windows, vacuum, wipe down furniture, put clean mattress covers on mattresses.
• Repairs in Guest Rooms (TBD)
• Restaking of firewood
• Move old freezer
• Other items to be determined.

Also, the “Kitchen Remodel Team” will be up working on Saturday doing plumbing/electrical.  Please be mindful of their working areas, they are on a schedule.  You will be pleasantly surprised of what is taking shape, we still have lots to do, but it is all coming together!

Meet at the SKIBACS Crystal Mountain Lodge at 10AM on Saturday August 24th or 25th.

For volunteering to help, you will earn a night’s stay at the lodge for each day.
