Lodge kitchen renovation status
Greetings!
Fall is upon us and ski season is just around the corner! Start planning your stays at the lodge, reservations are now open for overnights beginning November 15th. Here are some updates on the lodge kitchen remodel and the October Work Party:
The kitchen remodel is moving along, new flooring is being installed this week in dining room & caretaker bathroom area. Cabinets will be arriving mid-October and countertops. Then it is the big install. Hats off to our awesome Killer Kitchen Crew who have worked ALL SUMMER on the remodel! We are looking to have a “soft” opening to all members to come to the lodge for a “preview” of the remodel in November. More information forthcoming. Also, come and meet our new Caretaker, Matt Ugland, who has been busy getting the lodge ready for the ski season!
We have also been updating the Caretaker’s apartment with a new bathroom, flooring, and painting. A much-needed upgrade!
We are having a ONE-day work party October 13th. If you sent in a submission for the 12th & 13th, please send a revised form letting us know you can make the October 13th. We will send more details to those of you who sign up.

Crystal Mountain Lodge Ski Lockers
Lockers Enjoy the benefits of a Locker at the SKIBACS Crystal Mtn lodge! Locker rental is $100 and runs from October 1st– September 30th each season. Please contact the SKIBACS receptionist at info@skibacs.org to find out more. Lockers will hold your sleeping bag(s), pillow(s), and other gear. For those of you who stay multiple times, this is well worth not having to haul gear each time, a nice perk to have.
Jackson Hole:
Deadline for Jackson Hole: In order to partake in group airfare for the Jackson Hole trip a deposit is required by end of the day on 10/01/2024! Participants will still be able to join the trip after Oct. 1st however, you’ll be required to source your own airfare and transportation to the group’s hotel. It’s much easier to get in now and we’ve got the best rate possible through Delta!
Dolomites, Italy is closed.
Sun Peaks and Whistler still have plenty of spaces available.
Mini Crystal trip is scheduled for Dec. 13th to 15th
